The Executive Leadership Development Program from the Department of Defense DCPAS (Defense Civilian Personnel Advisory Service) Executive Leadership Program is an opportunity of experiential learning available to GS 12-14 or equivalent level individuals. This program intends to prepare participants for real world leadership by taking them out of their comfort zone. Executive Leader Sam Miri is inspired by the real-world elements of the ELDP program at DCPAS. The 10-month program includes hands-on experience and the opportunity to meet with senior leaders, Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines at various military locations. Miri believes that this can be a valuable opportunity for anyone in any role transitioning from military, active duty or Department of Defense employment to civilian leadership roles and positions. DCPAS offers a variety of development and broadening programs to civilians, military retirees and veterans. The organization connects civilians to active duty members in a way that promotes overall leadership development, for both participating parties.
