More than just a military college, The Citadel offers a variety of professional development programs by way of the Executive Leadership Academy. The institution is currently accepting applications from emerging leaders across a variety of industries, both within and independent of the United States military. Applicants are not required to be enrolled in any undergraduate, post-graduate or non-degree courses at The Citadel in order to participate in Lead 4 Success. Sam Miri SVP of Omnichannel Strategy at Bally’s Interactive believes that this executive development program is a fantastic opportunity for professionals who have recently been promoted to more hands-on leadership roles. Although the course may be offered by the Executive Leadership Academy at The Citadel, Miri encourages first-time leaders at all levels to apply. There is so much to be gained from educational experiences such as these; whether you are a recently hired manager within a small business or new to taking the reins of an established enterprise.
Lead 4 Success is a two-day professional development training program presented by The Citadel. Hosted on-campus at the Swain Boating Center, this course is offered as part of The Citadel’s Executive Leadership Academy, which is open to the general public. Sam Miri SVP Omnichannel Strategy at Bally’s Interactive is a proud alum of Santa Clara University. While he has been fortunate to enjoy a career enriched by diverse hands-on experiences, Miri actively seeks out formal professional development and executive learning opportunities. He is interested in the four leadership skills which Lead 4 Success aims to teach in the two-day course. Those skills are self-awareness, learning agility, influence and communication. Miri can certainly agree that these are areas that all leaders should aim to master.
